What is a Physiotherapist

A physiotherapist is a person who treats problems related to injury, pain, and disability. This profession focuses on improving and maintaining patients’ physical functionality using physical exercise, manual therapy, and technological equipment.

Education Eligibility (शैक्षणिक योग्यता)

  • Class 12th: Minimum 50%-60% marks are required with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) subjects.
  • Degree Course: Admission is to be taken for Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT).
  • MPT course is also available for Masters and Specialization.

Handicapped Eligibility (विकलांग उम्मीदवार)

  • Some institutes provide reservation and priority in admission for specially abled persons.
  • Their physical abilities are assessed to see if they can work in this area or not.

Admission Process (प्रवेश प्रक्रिया)

  • BPT Program:
    1. Admission for physiotherapy course is taken after 12th.
    2. Selection is done on the basis of merit or entrance exam.
  • Documents: 12th mark sheet, identity card, passport size photo etc.

Entrance Exam (प्रवेश परीक्षा)
